My brother gave my dad his very first smart phone for Christmas this year, and I’m so jazzed that he gets to take selfies!

  
I get to see my folks about once a year, so having the chance to communicate with them as though they were any of my friends is giving me peace of mind like I never expected. We speak on the phone, but nowadays there is a sense of urgency with phone calls which makes texting and voice memos feel lighter and more fun. Massage is relaxing, but it doesn’t create lightness of heart like this 🙂
